It’s been a busy few weeks for our Perth Glory Westfield W-League players who have been out and about in the metropolitan area and beyond coaching youngsters and promoting the women’s game.

Goalkeeper Gabby Dal Busco headed to Balcatta to work with 16 members of the club’s Under-15s squad.

While Sarah Carroll travelled north to Quinns where she was wowed by the enthusiasm and ability of the club’s Under-13s.

No fewer than 51 girls, meanwhile, attended a session run by Tash Rigby and Jaymee Gibbons at East Fremantle which involved players from every age group between Under-11 and Under-17.

And the final trip proved to be a very special one for Rigby as she returned to her first club, Margaret River.

“It was a really emotional and nostalgic occasion for me,” she said. “It meant a lot personally and it was great to see 35 girls from the Under-15s and Under-17s attending the session.”

Glory remains committed to working in partnership with Football West to promote the women’s game across WA, so look out for our Westfield W-League players visiting a club near you in the coming weeks and months.
