Albany will lay the backdrop for Glory stars Chris Harold and Mitch Oxborrow when they visit the port city tomorrow for a day full of kick-abouts and football fun with locals.

Harold said he was looking forward to bringing Glory’s community activities to the Great Southern.

“I think it will be a valuable trip,” the aspiring lawyer said.

“We’re looking forward to venturing to that beautiful part of the state. I think it presents a great opportunity to show that Glory is more than just about Perth and that the club is focused on the whole of Western Australia.”

Harold and Oxborrow arrive in Albany tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 21st of Jun) where they will visit the local Department of Sport and Recreation and take in the Skill Acquisition Program, as well as hosting a session with the Game Development Program Players at the North Road Soccer Fields.

The Glory teammates will also enjoy a dinner with local coaches and players.

Glory will be visiting Albany and Bunbury next month for a series of Soccer Schools clinics in both regional cities.
