Perth Glory is excited to announce that it has signed a Licence Agreement with VenuesWest to play the Club-s 2014/15 home Hyundai A-League matches at nib Stadium.
“nib Stadium has been the home of Perth Glory for many years and it-s with great pleasure that we will hold this seasons games at the stadium” Glory CEO Jason Brewer said.
“Last season, all our fans saw the benefits of the A$95 million stadium upgrade. The new East and Southern Stands and associated facilities certainly provided a much improved match day experience and it was pleasing to see our average crowds increase to almost our highest levels since competing in the A-League.”
“Perth Glory already has a strong working relationship with VenuesWest, and we look forward to them taking over the management of nib Stadium in September. We will be working with them to deliver our season there and we are also in discussions to enter into a long term mutually beneficial agreement for future A-League seasons.” added Brewer.
VenuesWest Chairman, Graham Partridge OAM, said “VenuesWest are happy to host Perth Glory for the upcoming 2014/15 A league season with the Board of VenuesWest keen to work through a long term agreement that benefits both parties and ensures the home of A-League football in Western Australia remains at nib Stadium.”
“It-s our priority to ensure Western Australia-s premier rectangular sports and entertainment venue delivers a diverse range of quality sporting events including one of Australia-s most popular games”
“We wish Perth Glory all the best for the season ahead.” Partridge added.
Perth Glory-s first home match at nib Stadium for the 2014/15 Hyundai A-League season is on Sunday 19 October against defending champions Brisbane Roar, with kick off at 2.00pm.
