Perth Glory Chairman and owner Tony Sage has urged all fans, members and supporters to dig deep and donate generously to the victims of Queensland-s flood disaster at Saturday night-s home game against Melbourne Heart.

With the Chairman also personally affected by the devastation – his nephews and nieces live in the affected area – Sage will donate two dollars from every ticket sold at the ground to the Premier-s Flood Relief Appeal.

Perth Glory Youth players will also fundraise via ‘collections at the entrance gates- before the game, while Perth Glory players will join the appeal at the end of the game.

“Our sympathies and thoughts are with the State of Queensland,” Sage said.

“We are all shattered by the natural disaster and would like to show our support on Saturday night.”

Additionally, all players in the Hyundai A-League will wear black armbands at this weekend-s round of fixtures and each game will observe a moment-s silence.
