Former Republic of Ireland international Liam Miller has decided not to renew his contract with Perth Glory.

Coach Alistair Edwards offered the 32-year-old a new deal for the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season but the midfielder has opted not to extend his stay.

“Unfortunately, it-s part and parcel of football,” Edwards said. “Players come and go. Liam has played an important role over the last two years but has decided to move on.

“We-d like to thank him for his commitment and professionalism at Perth Glory and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”

Miller joined Glory in 2011 and made 50 appearances, scoring twice.

Midfielders Steven McGarry and Matias Cordoba are still in negotiations with Glory regarding contracts for next season.

Glory is also negotiating with Ryo Nagai-s Japanese club Cerezo Osaka to extend his loan.
