Glory Juniors

In 2013/14 the Glory Juniors enjoyed a very successful season incorporating technical and tactical development on the field coupled with social interaction and engagement off the field. The Coaching staff are extremely happy with the levels of improvement shown by each player in developing proficient techniques and skills as well as showing great signs of increased confidence and interpersonal qualities.

In 2014/15 PG Juniors will again have a maximum of 200 players registered with Perth Glory in the Community covering the areas of South, Central and North in the age groups of U8 through to U12. This is inclusive of players born from 2007 - 2002.

On behalf of Perth Glory FC-s Community and Development staff associated with Glory Juniors we would like to thank all the players and parents efforts on delivering a program that we felt facilitated a dynamic learning environment for players to develop as better people and improve as players during the season 2013/14.

Community and Development Manager Callum Salmon commented, “We have enjoyed a top quality season. At each training session and game day we have seen extremely talented players across the whole Glory Juniors spectrum. It has been a privilege to work with the Glory Juniors and we are excited to see their continued development within the Member Federations season and associated Perth Glory in the Community programs.

“Season 2014/15 promises further improvements on and off the field and we are excited to continue our work in this space as well as growing the game with Perth Glory-s commitment to West Australian football.”

Perth Glory FC-s Community and Development team attend junior games throughout the Football West season to identify players based on our selection criteria. Players can also be selected based on performances in Glory Skills, Soccer Schools and Club Based Training.

Players can be recommended via their club coach and our staff will endeavour to watch the player in question. After identification the club will be notified and the player-s parents will be presented with the details of how to register for PG Juniors as soon as they are available.
