The Perth Glory Women’s team will go looking for their maiden Westfield W-League victory on Saturday as they make the trip to Parramatta Stadium to take on Central Coast.
The Perth Glory Women’s team will go looking for their maiden Westfield W-League victory on Saturday as they make the trip to Parramatta Stadium to take on Central Coast.
Both sides will have several young guns unavailable with a total of six players from Perth and Central Coast called into action for the Young Matildas who are competing in the AFC under 19 Championships in Kuala Lumpur.
Perth will be without Sam Kerr, Ella Mastrantonio and Marianna Tabain whilst the Mariners will make do without Kyah Simon, Teresa Polias and Karina Roweth.
The absentees have provided opportunities for other players looking to make their mark in Glory colours. Singaporean recruit Shiya Lim has arrived in Australia and is ready for her first taste of W-League action, whilst Emily Dunn, Katarina Jukic and Katy Coghlan will all be hoping to force their way into the starting 11.
