Glory deal for Williams

Perth Glory FC has signed Perth born defender Aryn Williams, on a short-term deal.

The former Burnley player has been trialling with Glory for the past two months and has been awarded a short-term injury replacement contract.

The 22-year old spent four years in England plying his trade, before moving back to Perth where he has enjoyed success with WA side Floreat Athena FC, which won the local night series earlier this year.

Williams comes from a strong football pedigree. He is the younger brother of Socceroo Rhys Williams, and his father Eric is a former state team coach.

Williams has travelled to the east coast with the team this weekend as Perth Glory faces Western Sydney Wanderers at Pirtek Stadium in RD 4 of Hyundai A-League action.

Kick-off is at 2pm (WST).
