Perth Glory FC has announced an initial 17 man squad for its Round 19 match against Sydney FC with a 5:30pm AEST kick off at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney.

With no new injury worries, interim Head Coach Kenny Lowe has opted for the same squad of players that travelled to the regional town of Albury, for the Melbourne Heart game, last week with the only inclusion being that of creative midfielder, Danny De Silva.

The Sydney squad includes new signing Sasa Ognenovski, a return from injury for midfielder Terry Antonis and both Daniel Petkovski and Alec Urosevski are promoted. Matt Thompson who was suspended from first team training during the week by coach Frank Farina is also included, but Nick Carle (another suspended by Farina) misses out due to an adductor muscle injury.

This game will also see the renewal of some intense international rivalry when it comes to the Marquee Men. The match will be the first time William Gallas and Alessandro Del Piero have faced each other since the 2006 World Cup Final in Berlin, which was won by Italy on penalties and saw the late dismissal of French great Zinadine Zidane.

Perth Glory have met Sydney FC just the once so far this season in Round 4, with a Steven McGarry penalty being the difference between the two sides at nib stadium last November
