Perth Glory players brought some Christmas cheer to the kids at Princess Margaret Hospital and were joined by a very special guest – Santa!

Hayden Foxe, Eugene Dadi, Adriano Pellegrino and Jamie Coyne spent several hours with the kids in the hospital-s ‘Mega Zone- before visiting the wards.

Foxe, who has endured a frustrating run with injuries throughout his career, said the visit was hugely rewarding for all the players who were introduced to many brave youngsters.

“It-s nice to come here and help the kids out and see some smiles on their faces,” he said.

“You don-t realise how lucky you are, it just unfortunate that some of these kids will have to spend Christmas in hospital.

“I love my football, that-s my number on priority, beside my family of course, but you come to places like this and see what some of the kids don-t have and how sick some of them are and being able to help them out is more important than winning football games,” he said.

Glory players joined with Santa to hand out gifts that included Glory scarves, mini footballs, and soft toys which were a huge hit with the kids.
