Perth Glory today released four players as the club looks towards rebuilding for the 2011/12 Hyundai A-League season.

Naum Sekulovski, Howard Fondyke, Brent Griffiths and Anthony Skorich were all told by Perth Glory head coach Ian Ferguson they would not be required for next season.

“I-d like to thank these players for their contribution at Perth Glory,” Ferguson said.

“Given the performance of the team this season, changes need to be made.

“We are now in a rebuilding phase and the three signings we have already made for next season are exciting.

“All three players (Dean Heffernan, Danny Vukovic and Evan Berger) have represented Australia at various levels and we will continue to make tough decisions with our squad to turn around an unacceptable season.”

Ten players from this season-s squad have now been released or retired with Aleks Vrteski, Michael Baird, Andy Todd, Tando Velaphi, Jamie Harnwell and Andrija Jukic having already departed.
