More than three thousand Perth Glory members and supporters enjoyed a wonderful Sunday afternoon as they mingled with players at the club-s annual Family Fun Day, proudly presented by Major Sponsor QBE Insurance.

The QBE GloryUS Fun Day was a massive success. The day started with everyone watching the players being put through their paces on the training pitch before enjoying a huge range of activities including a giant inflatable slide, beat the keeper inflatable goal and laser corps firing range just to name a few.

Supporters of all ages also were able to take part in skill activities with Perth Glory players stationed at each area and giving handy tips to master the art of juggling, curling it past the defensive wall and scoring from the penalty spot.

It was great to see so many fans turning out in the club-s new striped playing shirt while hundreds of others were showing their allegiance by having an airbrushed tattoo proudly on display.

Players were presented to the crowd and all of the squad received a massive cheer as the buzz of the new season was clearly evident amongst the dedicated supporters.

New Perth Glory recruit Andy Todd was full of praise for the day, the Englishman bringing his family to the event to enjoy the atmosphere and a perfect Perth day.

“It has really been great, to have so many people come along is fantastic,” Todd said.

“I can-t believe that this is winter weather, I-ll take this any day,” he said as the mercury tipped 22 degrees under brilliant blue skies.

“I have enjoyed meeting our supporters, they-re really passionate about the club and I can assure them that we-re as committed and passionate about performing well for them on the pitch this season,” Todd added.

The TKO one-on-one cage was as popular as ever as while the 96fm Thunders greeted people on arrival and had plenty of great giveaways.

The membership stand also received a ton of interest with people keen to secure their place to see the new look squad in action this season.

A huge thanks to everyone who came along on the day and also to club major sponsor QBE Insurance for the fantastic support of the event.
