Last Sunday in Melbourne, Perth Glory took part in a mini tournament and coaching clinic with the staff members of our Premier sponsor, Europcar and some excited junior footballers from local club Spring Hills FC.

Now an annual event, which the staff of Europcar eagerly await, Perth Glory players took on the role as team managers and referees in a 6 team, 6 a side round robin tournament and penalty shoot-out competition.

Following the tournament, the Glory players signed autographs, presented prizes, and shared lunch with everyone in attendance. A great time was had by all participants who were excited to meet and spend time with the squad as part of this unique opportunity.

Vice President of Spring Hills FC, Tom Markovski commended the Perth Glory players, coaches and staff.

“They were all fantastic and they should be proud as a club. They left a huge impact on the kids here, who have made Perth Glory if not their first team, then most certainly their second.” he said.

Markovski incidentally is the brother of former Perth Glory striker, John Markovski who is also the Director of Coaching at Spring Hills FC.

Perth Glory would like to extend a big thank you to all the staff and participants from Europcar and Spring Hills FC for a wonderful event and we look forward to it being bigger and better next year.
