A product of Portuguese giants FC Porto’s youth academy, Australian Diogo Ferreira has repeatedly proven his worth as a Hyundai A-League midfielder with 63 caps for Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar respectively.
Ferreira plays with maturity in the middle of the park and is known for using his pace to stifle opposition attacks.
The Melbourne-born defending midfielder has performed well in the opening rounds of the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season in the FFA Cup sem-final against Melbourne City. He’s also expected to play a pivotal part in the FFA Cup Final against Melbourne Victory in November.
