Perth Glory will work with defender Dino Djulbic towards a possible move to German second division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth after the defender returned earlier this week from a successful trial.

Perth Glory has yet to receive formal notification of the Bavarian club-s intentions however Djulbic has expressed his desire to pursue a career in Germany with the January transfer window his next opportunity.

Coach Dave Mitchell said there are still plenty of negotiations to take place but the club wouldn-t stand in the way of Djulbic if a suitable deal can be agreed upon.

“If Dino believes this is the best thing for his career then we will do what we can to help make that happen,” Mitchell said.

The uncompromising defender has had an interrupted second season for Perth with suspension limiting his output to nine matches after he burst onto the Hyundai A-League scene last season and won the Glory-s ‘Best Clubman- award.

Mitchell has opted to leave the 25 year old in Perth rather than bringing him to Sydney where the team is preparing for a clash against Sydney FC on Sunday.

“We brought an extend squad over with us and I-m comfortable that the personnel we have here can get the job done.

“Dino will come across with the Youth Team and get some game time and remains an option for us if we need him in the senior squad on Sunday,” Mitchell said.
