Perth Glory is delighted to confirm that Natasha Rigby and Grace Henry have signed with the club for the Westfield W-League 2018/19 Season.

Full-back Rigby, who hails from Margaret River, is on board for her third campaign having debuted for Glory in 2016 and subsequently chalked up 24 appearances.

23-year-old Henry, meanwhile, started her career with Adelaide United for whom she played 11 games over the course of two seasons ahead of a switch to Western Sydney Wanderers where she featured on ten occasions during the 2014/15 campaign.

With the new Westfield W-League season now just a fortnight away, both players are raring to go.

“I’m really excited,” said Rigby. “We’ve got a good squad this year with a great mix of youth, experience and quality imports and I’m confident we’ll go well.”

Henry, meanwhile, is especially keen to get back into action having taken a break from the competition for the past two years.

“The break has definitely increased my excitement levels,” she said. “It’s great to be back, great to be a part of this strong Glory squad and I can’t wait for the season to start.”

Head Coach Bobby Despotovski believes that Rigby and Henry are both key recruits.

“Tash is a great success story,” he said. “She’s a local WA girl who grabbed her opportunity when it came along and hasn’t looked back since.
“A fantastic, positive character who is always working really hard to improve, she’s established herself in the starting eleven over the last couple of years and will be looking to build on that this season.
“Grace came over to WA for work reasons, joined us at training and really impressed.
“She’s brings Westfield W-League experience, is very versatile in that she can play at left-back, right-back or in midfield, has great skills and reads the game really well.”

Further signing announcements are expected in the very near future.
