Perth Glory can confirm that that defender Scott Neville has departed the club by mutual consent.

The 30-year-old returned to his hometown club for a second spell ahead of the 2017/18 Hyundai A-League campaign and went on to take his tally of appearances in purple to 104.

He also added a further two goals, one of which came in last season’s dramatic Semi-Final win over Adelaide United at HBF Park.

“I’m departing on good terms and would like to thank everyone at Glory,” he said.

“It was fantastic to be a part of the squad last season that finally brought some silverware to a club that will always be close to my heart.

“I’d like to wish the lads all the very best for the upcoming campaign.”

Perth Glory CEO Tony Pignata, meanwhile, was quick to wish Neville well.

“On behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to thank Scott for his service,” he said.

“We hope that he enjoys great success in his future endeavours.”

Further player announcements are expected in the near future.
