Perth Glory FC can confirm it has received notification from Football Federation Australia today, in relation to player benefits for the Hyundai A-League seasons 2012/13, 2013/14 and the current 2014/15 season.
The notice does NOT relate to ANY alleged breach of the club’s Salary Cap in any season.
Furthermore the notice does NOT allege that the club exceeded the cap in this or any Hyundai A-League season.
The club has always operated within the Salary Cap for each and every Hyundai A-League season.
The club can confirm it has received a ‘Show Cause’ notice from the FFA over an alleged failure to disclose benefits in relation to players accommodation and motor vehicles.
Perth Glory has cooperated with the FFA in an open and transparent manner and will continue to do so as it attempts to resolve the matter over the next week.
Futhermore the club welcomes any assistance the FFA can provide to clarify the processes and criteria used to report player benefits.
