The pre-season campaign for Perth Glory FC is about to kick-off as the team prepares for its first official hit out against local side Cockburn City on Wednesday night.
It’ll be the first time new signings Antony Golec, Hagi Gligor, Jerrad Tyson, Alex Grant and Gyuri Sandor will be on show for the Hyundai A-League club.
Golec said he loved his move to Perth and was looking forward to the friendly match at Dalmatinac Park.
“I’m ready to go. I’m hanging out to get onto the pitch and have a decent run with the boys. The atmosphere at training has been really upbeat; the new lads that have come in have gelled in well so I think it will be an entertaining match”.
“Cockburn are in full swing of the NPL season so they’ll no doubt be firing at us and having a point to prove” he said.
The match kicks-off at 6.30pm. Entry is free.
