Perth Glory owner and Chairman Tony Sage has hailed Perth Glory’s fighting spirit today.

Down 2-nil early in the second half against Melbourne Victory and down to 10 players, Perth Glory produced a brilliant comeback to earn a 2-all draw at Etihad Stadium.

“The boys showed great character and i am proud of their efforts,” the Chairman said from Melbourne.

“Today we turned the corner.

“I thought we outplayed Sydney in the second half last week and today we followed it up with a performance defined by real spirit and determination.

“It was against all odds with the decision to give Melbourne a penalty blatantly incorrect.”
