A talented striker from New South Wales, Caitlin Foord earned 37 caps with the Matildas before her 21st birthday.

At just 16 years old Foord represented Australia at the 2011 Women’s World Cup in Germany. She impressed enough during the tournament to earn the Best Young Player award.

Caitlin also featured in the 2015 Women’s World Cup, starting at either right back or left back in each of Australia’s matches.

She made her W-League debut in 2010 with Sydney FC, playing for the Sky Blues until 2013. She then moved to New Jersey-based Sky Blue FC.

After the NWSL season came to a close, Foord was loaned back to Sydney FC, playing once again for the W-League side.

In 2014 she moved to Perth Glory Women, helping the team capture the Premiership in her inaugural season.
