The partnership between Glory and the global resources giant began last year, with the BHP logo featuring on the front of the club’s Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League and Academy shirts and all training apparel.

Glory Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata is proud that Glory’s relationship with such a major force in one of Western Australia’s key industries is set to continue.

“It is fantastic to be partnering with BHP for another year,” he said.

“The last few months have presented some huge challenges, but we are steadily rebuilding towards a bright future.

“This partnership with BHP will help enable the club to keep improving and achieve the sustained success that its members and fans so richly deserve.

“BHP’s social investment policy is aligned with our own core values as a club and we look forward to working closely with them again during 2020/21 and hopefully beyond.”

Acting Asset President WA Iron Ore, Tim Day said like Perth Glory, BHP is embedded in Western Australia and was pleased to be able to support local groups and make a difference.

“We value the contribution Perth Glory makes to our local community and our partnership is underpinned by a mutual commitment to achieve lasting results and provide positive experiences for the community in which we live.”
