Should the Glory players need a little literary inspiration during their hectic Christmas schedule, they need look no further than the selection of uplifting ballads written by students at Dianella Secondary College.
As part of a Year 9 English project, the youngsters were asked to be as creative as possible in coming up with something that would celebrate everything about Glory and urge the team on to, well, Glory.
And it was a challenge they clearly relished.
Thanks to the efforts of English teacher Karalee Blake and well-known Glory member Matt ‘Chopper’ Stacey, we can now share three examples of this ballad bonanza with everyone.

Lyndon Noble went for some strong imagery…
“Perth Glory is our name,

our team wears purple,
