A-League Fixtures Latest – Glory set for five home games on the bounce

HBF Park goal and empty stand

The latest set of fixtures released by Australian Professional Leagues (APL) will see Glory play five consecutive home games in the space of 16 days.

Richard Garcia’s men will be in action at HBF Park twice in April, against Wellington Phoenix on the 18th and league new boys Macarthur FC on the 30th, with the second of those fixtures beginning the run of five back-to-back home dates.

Melbourne City will head west on Wednesday 5 May, followed by Melbourne Victory on Sunday 9 May, Western United on Wednesday 12 May and Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday 16 May.

In terms of away games, meanwhile, the men in purple are due to make a first ever visit to Macarthur FC on Good Friday (2 April), before facing Sydney FC on Wednesday 7 April, Newcastle Jets on Tuesday 13 April and Brisbane Roar on Sunday 25 April.

“The APL has worked very closely with the clubs, FOX SPORTS, ABC TV and venues to produce this latest update,” said APL Commissioner Greg O’Rourke.

“We have witnessed some unbelievable football since the start of the season and I am sure there will be plenty more in store for the remainder of the competition as we look towards the A-League 2021 Finals Series.”
