Perth Glory FC is delighted and proud to announce it has now surpassed 5000 thousand members.

It’s been a busy off season at  Perth Glory FC headquarters which has seen the recruitment of three international players – Diego Castro, Guyon Fernandez and Gyorgy Sandor- and two Asian Champions League medal winners in Ante covic and Antony Golec.

Perth Glory would like to thank all the new and existing members who have come out in numbers to support the club.

Club CEO Peter Filopoulos thanked the members who had pledged their support but stressed the hard work had only just begun.

“We need to continue to strive for our annual target of 6500 members and at the same time maintain our ultimate focus to reach 10,000 members in the next two seasons. A lot of hard work has gone into the club in the past six months but it’s only the start of a sustained and committed effort to get the club back to its Glory days.  We urge all Perth Glory fans to jump on-board if they haven’t already done so to help build a strong vibrant Club we all want to see” he said.

Perth Glory takes on Wellington Phoenix at nib Stadium on Sunday October 18 in round one of the Long Distance Derby Cup.

Kick-off is at 4pm.

Glory returns to nib Stadium on Wednesday night (October 21) to earn a berth in the Westfield FFA Cup Final when it hosts Melbourne City in the FFA Cup semi-final.

Perth will then take on Adelaide United at home on Sunday October 25.
