Goals for Football
For our players and coaches, we will be where innovative, exciting and brilliant football are the core to delivering success at all levels.
Identify, nurture, and attract new talent through our GDC, NPL & NYL
Retain within WA the best talent from the GDC, NPL & NYL to ensure that Perth Glory have a pipeline of quality players for the Hyundai A League.
•The Glory Development Centre (GDC) replaces the Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) and Glory Juniors (GJ) program, both previously designed to work with talented junior players in the youngest age groups.
•Players born between 2005 and 2009 will be selected in the Glory Development Centre which is the club's underpinning program for the NPL including two Shadow Squads for players born in 2005 and 2006.
•Players will also have to register with a club team in the Football West season.
•Perth Glory’s NPL teams all play a minimum of one year (1) up above their age group.
•Perth Glory’s NPL teams compete in National and International tournaments.
•We aim to unlock our player’s potential to maximize their improvement on a consistent basis when training with Perth Glory coaches. Our goal is to be a positive influence on each player’s learning journey within football development.
“Our thanks extended to Perth Glory FC for their professional and high standard environment created during the 2016 NPL season, with the majority of players representing our State at the NYC, coming from the PG youth teams.”
