Charity Support Programme

Since the club’s inception in 1996, Perth Glory has been committed to working with numerous local charities and non-profit organisations.

The ‘Glory in the Community’ Programme aims to make a positive difference in the community we live and provides services throughout Western Australia from grassroots development, football promotion and charity support.

This season, the Perth Glory Charity Support Programme will concentrate its support of United Way and Uni Camp for Kids while still offering assistance to other worthy causes.

United Way represents a diverse group of charities and allows the club help a wide range of people in need. United Way West Australia concentrates on supporting programs that encourage strong families, successful children and youth and enriching the lives of older adults.

Uni Camp for Kids focuses their support toward underprivileged children and is run and staffed by student volunteers at the University of Western Australia. The activities run by Uni Camp for Kids are an essential part of improving the lives of at-risk kids by giving them positive experiences. Perth Glory will aid in these positive experiences by providing access to home matches as well as attending other activities throughout the season.

How to be a part of the Perth Glory Charity Support Programme

The Charity Support Programme, through Glory in the Community allows players, coaches and staff to recognise the special needs of those in our community, whilst also identifying and acknowledging charitable organisations and groups that work tirelessly to improve the lives of those in need.

The club assist organisations with provision of players to attend events and functions, the supply of autographed merchandise, tickets to Perth Glory home games, corporate functions, name and logo recognition on the team's web-site, and much more through out the season.

Charities also received one home game during the Hyundai A-League season which is promoted as their ‘Charity Support Day’ to help raise awareness and funds for their organisation.
